Here is what we have been up to in a house full of boys.

To start off with I spent a week in Jamaica with Julie. Sleeping, reading, swimming and eating to my hearts content. A little bit of heaven on earth.

After I got back from Jamaica we quickly turned around a few days later and headed down to St. George for a week to attend a soccer tournament for Luke's team. Needless to say there was quite a bit of laundry to be caught up on.

Luke played AMAZING at his tournament! He is growing up so quickly and getting more and more handsome despite my greatest efforts to keep him my little Lukie. Sweet sweet little Lukie. Girls are trouble! - if only I could get this into his head we will be ok for a while.

Colby on the other hand..... this kid will be the death of me. Dearest Colby tried to burn the house down while I was in Jamaica and Corey was at work. It involved a quarter, an electrical socket and a night light which is no more. There was an explosion, sparks, a small fire and then the whole main floor of the house went dead. To top it all off there was no remorse from this little boy, just pride and amazement at his accomplishment.

Now this little boy. There are two speeds in his world, super fast and asleep. I can't keep up with his busy activity or his messes. Luckily I have Lola to round him up, clean up the countless amounts of food that is thrown, to be an constant play companion and to keep him safe on the stairs. I guess that dumb dog is not all bad.

This is a quasi-escape attempt. I don't think it went as planned. Having his little belly wedged between the wall and crib was a little irritating and kept him from making either direction.

Did I mention endless messes? He loves my kitchen utensils and I love the quiet it affords me.

God bless this child for as much as he likes his bed and for the 13 hours he sleeps a night and for the 2 naps he takes daily. Hallelujah Amen!
