Beautiful weather and condo. It was 200 yards away from the race sight, totally helpful.
The outdoor pool which lead out to the pristine white beaches of Florida.
p.s. I should tell you that Corey brought it to my attention to remember the fact that Colby has been totally obsessed with this book on all the most poisonous creatures of our earth. They list the Box Jellyfish as one of the most poisonous animals. Now, that was not what we saw in the water, but cute Colby does not know there is a difference. So when I say "Hey, a jellyfish." His minds jumps to one of the most poisonous animals floating around out there. Now it makes sense why he acted as if I had said "Hey, a man eating shark."
A little football on the beach.

There was a big fight over whether to build the sand castle or destroy it. Lots of yelling. Believe it or not, but Colby was not the one who wanted to destroy it.

This is how Colby's afternoons have gone, pretty much everyday. He finds somewhere to sleep - On my lap, in the middle of the race sight, on the couch, Grandpa Larry's lap - anywhere. Cute little snoozer.
Ironman Florida! 7am start. 2300+ triathletes
With so many people wearing black wetsuits, blue swim cap and goggles - we have NO idea where he is. We cheered our hearts out nonetheless.
Corey's swim time was about 1:35 for 2.4 miles.
Stripped of his wetsuit and running through the "showers" to get the salt off.
On his bike and onto 112 miles and about 6 hours of his day.
Now into your running shoes and out the door for a full marathon. His running time was about 4:30. It was cruel - they had the runners come within sight of the finish line just to turn around and go back out for their second and final loop. It was just plain mean. I mean literally they were 20 yards away from the finish line!
Having fun and not done yet.

Oh my. I'm speechless. First of all, Florida looks amazing right now. So jealous of the beaches, warm weather, and swimming. Secondly, your husband is THE MAN! I can't even wrap my brain around what he did, let alone to do it five times! Is he a little bit insane? :) j/k Way to go Corey! Give him our congratulations!
Corey is da bomb! I am way jealous of you guys getting to hang out on the beach and in that nice hotel. The jelly fish story was way funny!
Rock on Corey! And great pics - thanks for posting them Liz.
That is just insanity, I tell ya--INSANITY! Go Corey, he ROCKS! Oh, and a happy birthday to him from me!
