Mini Corey

Everybody used to tell us that Corey cloned himself with Luke. It used to be in looks alone, but lately Luke is turning into Corey. Not such a bad thing, but amusing nonetheless.

I roll out of bed this morning around 8am 'ish and head downstairs where Luke is fully dressed and casually informs me that he went for a run this morning with the dog and picked up the mail. Um, ok.

He proceeds to tell me this joke that he just loves. What says "quick quick quick"? A duck in a hurry. He just giggles and giggles about he hilarity of it.

I go upstairs to get ready and come back down only to find him leading his brother in some very loud karaoke on the machine hooked up to the tv with them both holding microphones. Luke is mostly singing, Colby jumps in on the chorus and has the dance moves.

Luke cannot start his morning without turning on Sports Center, even if it is just on in the background. I have banned talk of sports when I am around, because it bores me and because Luke is obsessed with sports.

Way to go Corey. You should be proud.

Luke when he was around the age of 3. I could eat him up!

This was Luke's favorite spot. In the laundry basket with a book. He is around 5 or 6 in this picture.

This was a birthday for Luke. I think he was 6 and Colby was 2.
