Part 2 & 3

Birthday part 2 consisted of a very busy day in Salt Lake. In lieu of a lame-o birthday party with the little kids in our neighborhood we opted for a SUPER-COOL Birthday party, just the 4 of us. Corey, Liz, Luke and Colby - we headed up to SLC where Colby received a present every hour starting at 1pm and ending at 8pm. Now, don't get to excited. The presents ranged from a pack of gum to a marble racing roller coaster. We went to dinner, saw a movie and went to the Space Museum.

Part 3- which actually took place today on his birthday, consisted of a trip to the all-amazing Wal-Mart. Colby had in mind just where he wanted to spend his birthday money from Grandma Jan and Grandpa Jack AND Grandma Kim and Grandpa Larry. The kid is rich. I tried to convince him to pay for his own birthday dinner, to no avail. Anyways, he bought himself silly with these funny little transforming toys called Bakugan. Some little ball things that transform into some fighting thing when they hit this card with metal in them. Confused? I know, me too.

He kept telling me the name of those toys and I just couldn't understand. Bakugan? What ever happened to GI Joe and My Little Pony? The good old days. You guys are the best parents ever!
