Nerak Lives!

It has been so warm lately that we needed another movie night, and what did we watch? Well, Watcher In The Woods - of course! Nice and quiet out here in the country, a perfect place to watch "Nerak" do her haunting. It was great! Marnie, Patrick and their kids came over to watch with us.

If you haven't seen it, it is a great movie. Disney made it, and it is a classic. It still freaks me out.

Nerak. Freaky.

Getting ready with the popcorn and hot chocolate.

Marnie's kids and Luke getting ready for the action.

Marnie and I were on the swing, then Luke joined us, then Colby joined us on my lap, then Forbes joined us on Marnie's lap. Then Marnie's girls huddled together in a little blanket and her other daughter was a breath away from Patrick's lap. Corey - was in the house. He doesn't "do" scary movies.

Colby started out on the tramp under a PILE of blankets, but quickly moved onto my lap. It was pitch black outside and the flash blinded him, that is why he looks half awake.

He got mad at the flash and asked me not to take anymore pictures. It's true. The flash near blinded you when there were no other lights out there. I was lucky I got him in the frame - you just kind of guessed where they were and snapped a photo.

All in all, it was a VERY successful evening. Best of all....everybody slept through the night in their own beds!

You are lucky everyone slept in their own beds, Lucee came in our bed. It was a good time. What movie are we watching next weekend?

I have no idea how anyone slept after that. Watcher in the Woods, outdoors, in the dark. That's child abuse. You're lucky someone didn't call the cops on you!

I remember watching that movie when I was younger. I haven't watched it for such a long time and that made me want to watch it so bad. It still freaks me out to even think about that movie. How fun to watch it outside!

That is such a classic movie! You really captured the scary part with the blind fold on well! How is Springville going? I miss that place! Your pizza looks de-lovly! If you wouldn't mind I would LOVE your recipe. annielewis83@gmail.com
