I love Conference weekend! For as long as I can
remember Conference weekend has always been a
time for house-related projects, cleaning,
organizing, etc. You could count on my Dad to bring out his table, mounds of shoes and all his different products to buff and shine. It is the perfect weekend to do such projects. The weather is just starting to turn, there are no meetings scheduled, no places calling out for you - just you and your project and the tv/computer/radio to listen to the talks. The other option is to get too cozy on the couch and realize the talks are over when the choir startles you out of your "
coziness".
I have been wanting to put my touch into our house. So my first thought is paint. My lovely new house is ALL white. I wanted a some good earthy tones on the main floor where I will add some fun colors in the accent items.

I painted a khaki green color in the office and dining room.

A tan color in the family room and a soon-to-come chocolate in the library. I am going to paint a really pretty bright
fuchsia on my bathroom ceiling with tan walls. I will take a picture when it's done - Julie, hopefully you will approve.

You are so ambitious! I took the be lazy and sit on the couch approach to the weekend. And miraculously I stayed awake! Anyway, your house looks great! Having some color instead of all white will be so nice.
Marn told me your painting looks GREAT! Can't wait to see it!
I've lost my painting mojo with this bathroom color I chose. I hate it, but don't trust myself to pick something better. Definitely not fuschia, though. Hopefully you'll inspire me, Liz. You've got such a knack.
And I love your description of what it's like to have the choir startle you from slumber when you get too cozy watching conference!
